# Change your language

KolleK speaks seven languages. Your choice is personal: it changes the interface for you, and only for you, so Emma can use the app in English while Sam uses it in French inside the same account.

## The supported languages

- English
- French
- Spanish
- German
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Simplified Chinese
- Japanese

## Switch from your profile

Open [your profile](https://getkollek.com/en/docs/account-and-profile/edit-your-profile), pick your language from the **Language** selector, and save. The interface switches immediately.

## Switch before signing in

You do not need to be signed in to change language. The sign in page itself offers the language switcher, so you can bring the app into your language before you even have an account. Handy when you set up KolleK for someone who does not read English.

Your language preference travels with your user, not with the browser. Sign in on another device and KolleK greets you in your chosen language.
