Account settings
Account settings shape the workspace everyone in your account shares. They are deliberately few: a name, a default currency, and the getting started checklist. Only an owner can change them.
Open them from the account settings area.
The account name
The account name labels your shared workspace, for example "The Freyd Family" or "Northside Vinyl Club". Members see it, and it helps when an invitation arrives ("You have been invited to join Northside Vinyl Club").
The default currency
The default currency is the fallback for money across the account. Pick from the supported currencies (US dollars, euros, pounds, yen, and fourteen others).
Each collection can override it with its own currency. Emma's account defaults to US dollars, but her "Wine Cellar" collection is set to euros because she buys her wine in France. Set the account default to the currency you use most, and override per collection where needed.
Changing the default currency changes which currency new money entries assume. It does not convert amounts you have already recorded.
The getting started checklist
The getting started checklist that welcomes a new account can be hidden once you are up and running, and this is where an owner brings it back. Turning it on again shows it to everyone in the account.
Deleting the account
Deleting the account is the most destructive action in KolleK, and it has its own page so the consequences are spelled out properly: Delete an account.
