Edit your profile

Your profile is how KolleK, and the other members of your account, see you. This page covers the personal details and the two small preferences that shape your experience.

Open your profile from the user menu, then edit your details.

Your name and nickname

• First name and last name are required. They appear in the member list and in the activity trail, so others can tell who did what.
• Nickname is optional. If you set one, KolleK shows it to other members instead of your real name. Useful if you are known in your club as "VinylNoah" rather than by your full name.

Your email address

Your email is how you sign in and where KolleK sends everything: magic links, password resets, and security alerts. Two things to know when changing it:

• Disposable email addresses are rejected, the same rule as at registration. Use an address you will keep.
• Changing your email resets verification. Your new address starts unverified, and KolleK sends a fresh verification email to it. Nothing is blocked while it is unverified, but verifying confirms the address works, which matters since account recovery depends on it.

Your preferences

• Language. Choose the interface language, one of seven. Details in Change your language.
• Time format. Choose between a 24 hour clock (14:00) and a 12 hour clock (2:00 PM). This only changes how times are displayed to you.

Both preferences are personal. They affect what you see, not what other members see.
