Delete your user
Deleting your user removes you, the person, from KolleK. It is not the same thing as deleting the account: the account is the shared workspace, and deleting it destroys everything for everyone. This page covers removing just yourself.
Before you decide
Two situations look like "delete my user" but are not:
- You want everything gone. If you are the owner and want the whole catalogue and workspace removed, that is Delete an account.
- You want out of a shared account. Deleting your user removes you and leaves the account and its catalogue with the other members.
If you are the account's only owner and other members remain, promote someone else to owner first from member management, so the account is not left without one.
Delete yourself
Go to your profile settings and find the danger zone at the bottom.
A reason is required (a few words is enough, at least three characters). It goes to whoever runs the instance and helps improve KolleK.

Confirm the deletion in the dialog. You are signed out immediately and your login stops working.
Deleting your user is permanent. Your login is gone and cannot be restored from the app. Your email address becomes free again, so you could register a brand new account later, but it would start empty.
What happens to your traces
The activity history of the account keeps its integrity: entries you created record your name as it was at the time, so the audit trail of shared work does not develop holes when you leave.
